The Creative Core are delighted to have been selected to design a series of temporary exhibitions and displays at ten historic sites and museums along Hadrian’s Wall. Celebrating the Roman cavalry that protected the frontier and projected Imperial power, this Arts Council England-funded exhibition will be a dramatic and exciting insight into the elite troops of the Roman army. The exhibition will feature a range of associated historic artefacts, such as helmets and armour and will include significant loans from major museums including the National Museums of Scotland and the British Museum alongside objects from German and French museums and private collections.
Working closely with each project partner and project managers Minerva Heritage and associate Nigel Mills, The Creative Core are designing bespoke interpretive displays for each site and have commissioned an exciting re-enactment film which is currently in production by Fuzzy Duck Creative. Having already designed the Hadrian’s Cavalry branding guidelines, Bivouac are also part of the team.
The wall-wide exhibition will open in April 2017.
